Job Title: Apprentice Water Accountability

Number of positions: 10+

Pay-Range: $14.00+ per hour

Hours: 1st Shift

* Must have VALID Driver’s License

DESCRIPTION:  Perform heavy manual labor operates any required mechanical equipment used by the Water Accountability Team. Will be cleaning and preparing construction sites, loading and unloading materials and equipment, digging trenches, compacting earth and backfilling holes. Assists Meter Technician personnel, such as cleaning out meter boxes, pumping out meter vaults and prepares for daily assignments by loading assigned truck with all necessary materials, supplies and equipment as per supervisor’s instructions. Cleans and washes vehicles and equipment as needed. The Apprentice will work under the leadership of the Meter Technician. Performs other related work as required by the Water Accountability & Customer Advocacy Manager.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or GED required. Must possess a valid driver’s license and good driving record. Knowledge of maintenance and manual labor required. Must frequently work outside in all weather conditions required. Must lift and move objects of 50 pounds required. Ability to work in all weather conditions outside.

Apprentice Water Resource Facility

Job Title: Apprentice Water Resource Facility

Number of positions: 10+

Pay-Range: $14.00+ per hour

Hours: 1st Shift

DESCRIPTION:  Performs semi-skilled general manual labor work to assist maintenance personnel, such as pressure washing, cleaning equipment, painting, surface preparation, receiving chemical Fats/Oil/Grease deliveries for processing. The Apprentice works under the leadership of the Maintenance Tech II. Maintains and performs janitorial services in all plant buildings and on plant grounds as required, to include the Riverwalk (from Bull Creek Bridge to Oxbow Meadows). Drain, cleans and prepares tanks for maintenance work. Performs other related work as required by supervisor and plant management.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or GED required. Must possess a valid driver’s license and good driving record. Knowledge of maintenance and manual labor required. Must frequently work outside in all weather conditions required. Must lift and move objects of 50 pounds required.

Construction

Job Title: Construction

Number of positions: 10+

Pay-Range: $12.00+ per hour

Hours: 1st Shift

* Must pass Drug Test

* Must be able to get to and from job sites

DESCRIPTION:  Cleaning and preparing construction sites. Loading and unloading materials and equipment. Digging trenches, compacting earth and backfilling holes. Operating and tending machinery and heavy equipment used on Construction sites. Assisting skilled tradespeople in their duties. The ability to identify and react appropriately to hazards. Good eye/hand coordination and balance.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Physical strength and ability to stand, walk, bend for long periods of time. High school diploma or GED is the minimum requirement. A minimum of 6 months of construction experience is required. Must frequently lift and move objects of 50 pounds required. Possession of a valid Driver’s License and a good driving record are required; in order to drive to multiple job sites. Must frequently work outside in all weather conditions required.

COOK/Prep (BAR)

Job Title: COOK/Prep (BAR)

1st Shift and 2nd Shift; Weekends required

Number of Positions: 10+

Pay Range: $11.00+

Must pass Drug Test

DESCRIPTION: Cooking/Prep duties may include: cooking food, clean and sanitize kitchen area, stove, machines and etc. Take direction from Head Chef. Keep kitchen clean and orderly. Follow procedures for use of chemical cleaning agents and power machinery to prevent damage. Work may be day/evening and weekdays/weekends. Various shifts available.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Physical strength and ability to stand, walk, bend for long periods of time. No contagious diseases or illnesses. Knowledge of safety use and standard cleaning methods and procedures for food service. Experience using cleaning agents and equipment. Ability to perform repetitive motion for long periods of time. Ability to interact with other employees, staff, and patrons.

CUSTOMER SERVICE or BILINGUAL CUSTOMER SERVICE

Job Title: CUSTOMER SERVICE or BILINGUAL CUSTOMER SERVICE

Hours: 1st Shift; Full Time and Part Time

DESCRIPTION:  Engage in customer service activities such as answering phones, greeting customers, and always providing quality and courteous service. Furnishes general and detailed information to customers regarding services or other inquiries.  Receive and route general incoming mail. Maintain files for office environment. General work may include the use of Microsoft office products, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint. 

Some positions may receive and processes requests for service installations, connections, discontinuance or changes in service and issues appropriate work orders, discontinuance orders, and final bills using the database system. Completes contract forms, determines charges for services requested, prepares change of address records and ensures appropriate documentation is maintained. Adjusts and processes customer complaints; provides recommendations on resolutions of customer complaints on complex matters requiring timely resolutions. Computes rebates and adjustments on bills; Maintains new routing plats and construction quote request for service; operates mail extracting and cash posting equipment to receive and process customer bills.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and part of a team.  Use sound judgement in stressful situations.  Excellent organizational skills, firm values and ethics.  Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

DESCRIPTION: Clean/disinfect all dishes, cooking utensils, pots/pans, prep pans, prep areas, etc. Keep the kitchen clean and orderly. Follow procedures for use of chemical cleaning agents and power machinery to prevent damage.
